Keep a Financial Reserve- Always keep a financial reserve separately before you start your work from home business. Such a reserve is necessary to sail through bad weather. This reserve will ensure that you stay focused during the time of no work or lesser work. It will keep your head cool and will help you to keep working. If you have taken some loan then it will help you to keep the creditors away.

How much money do you need in the reserve? You do not need lots of money in your financial reserve. Just keep some for emergency and except that you do not need much.

GUTS- This is what you need to start your own work from home business. Guts feeling is needed to defy all the conventional thinking and logic. It is the one thing that will propel to take a plunge in the water. Think whether you will like a 9 to 5 job or work from home and give your family more time. Would you like to obey others or would like to decide what to do, when to do and ho to do.

Decide what to do – Decide what you would love to do. Depending on your skill and what you like to do, decide the work that you would love to do. If you like writing, then you can become a writer and work from home. If you like baseball, then you can write about it, train others, sell baseball tuffs and so on. You can do whatever you like.

Put yourself into your potential clients’ shoes – When starting your work from home business, put yourself into you potential clients’ shoes and see whether you will pay for the services that you are offering. If the answer is yes, then find out how much YOU would like to pay for it. This exercise is important because it will gauge your skills and services and will give you a base ground.

Find competitors- Find out the competitors that you will have. This is very important because then you will have idea about the competition, which will give you the idea about the pricing and the quality of service that you have to provide. This is necessary for a firm grounding. You can search in the search engines or send them emails to find about their services and pricing.

Once you have done all these, then you are ready to start your own WORK FROM HOME business.
